The
DP/CHARGE Credit Card Payment Server is designed to work seamlessly with the three Infinity POWER applications allowing credit card processing to occur through the posting of deposits, payments or recurring cycle invoices.
The Infinity POWER Accounts Receivable, Sales Order Entry or Point of Sale modules allow users to generate invoices and sales orders for customers and post a credit card transaction as a deposit or payment method for each transaction in lieu of checks or cash. With Internet access required, these transaction authorizations occur virtually instantly!
With all of the latest rules and regulations from the PCI Standards Security Counsel (PCI-SSC) mandating that all businesses (merchants) who accept credit cards as a payment method have the highest levels of security compliance in the business operations as well as their software. Data Pro’s Infinity POWER users running Version 7.4 or higher are assured that the software is fully PA-DSS Compliant. This means that all merchants running our software will be eligible to become PCI-DSS Validated as a Merchant, assuming that they meet all of the other requirements as well.
OpenEdge*
Along with the requirement to use the DP/CHARGE Payment Server to process credit cards in Infinity POWER, businesses will need to acquire a “Merchant ID” from OpenEdge® who Data Pro developed its tight security integration features through. The OpenEdge PayMover Managed Payer Data feature is highly advanced and secure. All credit card information is removed from the accounting software, and thus any local server within your business, to avoid theft and stored remotely on OpenEdge' secure servers. In return, OpenEdge sends through DP/CHARGE to the Accounts Receivable module a highly encrypted “token” which is stored in your Infinity POWER data files. The card expiration date, address, and name on card information is stored locally. Whenever you want to use a credit card from a specific customer within any of the integrated accounting modules (Accounts Receivables, Point of Sale or Sales Order Entry), you can click on a button and use this easy “card on file” feature. All data is completely secure and your customers know you have the highest level of security in place available today!
WEB ORDER PROCESSING!
Further, for those companies utilizing Data Pro's advanced Infinity COMMERCE capabilities featuring the POWERServer module, Web Orders can also be sending requests to the DP/CHARGE Payment Server for authorizations at the same time as the company's internal sales order staff.
The key is that the DP/CHARGE Payment Server will communicate directly with the Sales Order Entry and Accounts Receivable modules through DP/STORE and act just like another internal user.
No special configuration is required. Deposits paid with credit cards will be applied to Sales Orders automatically from web-based orders.
